Brief Job Description/Summary: Lennox in Marshalltown, Iowa is now hiring Assemblers for second shift (3:30 pm. – 12 a.m.). Starting pay is $11.39/hr plus a $.42 shift differential with the opportunity to earn additional incentives per hour. Individuals will work under direct supervision in the assembly of units or fabricated parts. Tasks are routine and repetitive.
Position responsibilities and duties may include but are not limited to the following:
- Measuring and cutting insulation
- Applying glue, wraps, and securing insulation
- Utilizing various hand and power tools, or other specialized equipment to perform a variety of assembly tasks
- Assemble small parts and calibrate precise measurements
Required Experience and/or Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must be able to read, understand, and apply customer specifications
- Must safely and effectively use a variety of tools, identify unit components, install insulation, and make labels per instructions
- Must be able to repeatedly lift, move and carry up to 20 lbs
- Must be able to regularly stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work in a non-temperature controlled environment
- High school diploma or equivalent GED preferred, but not required
- Previous assembly experience, basic training and equipment knowledge in a manufacturing environment is a plus
