Why Marshalltown is back for 2026!
Why Marshalltown is a summer workforce program led by the Marshalltown Area Chamber of Commerce, designed to connect interns and any newcomers with everything our community has to offer beyond the workplace. While employers provide valuable on-the-job experience from 9 to 5, we focus on the 5 to 9—showcasing local events, hotspots, culture, and connections that make Marshalltown a great place to live. Whether you’re here for the summer or settling in for the long term, our goal is to help you feel at home—and excited to stay.
