Those wanting to successfully navigate today’s demanding business environment are invited to check out the Chamber’s upcoming training series during a preview over the lunch hour on Tuesday, July 18. Come to the Fisher Community Center (709 South Center Street) at noon to hear about The Dale Carnegie Course: Skills for Success. Designed to help participants master all-important human relation skills needed to thrive in any setting, the series kicks off September 7 and meets for eight consecutive Thursday mornings. Thursday, August 17: Chamber Educator Appreciation Breakfast

7:30 a.m. at Marshalltown High School cafeteria (1602 South 2nd Avenue)

The 25th Annual Educator Appreciation Breakfast, presented by Independent Insurance Services and hosted by the Chamber, serves as a kick-off to the 2017-2018 school year for educators, administrators, and support staff in the Marshalltown Community School District, Marshalltown Christian School, and St. Francis Catholic School. Gold Sponsors are Lennox Industries and Pizza Ranch. SagePoint Financial is the Bag Sponsor.
