Each year, co-sponsors Marshalltown Area Chamber of Commerce and Iowa Valley Continuing Education select 25 to 30 dynamic individuals who represent a cross section of the community and bring diverse strengths to the team to create the Iowa Valley Leadership Class. These emerging leaders take part in a nine-month program that immerses them in a knowledge of different sectors of the community as well as engages them in activities. They go on to hold leadership positions in their companies, serve on non-profit boards, volunteer for community organizations and hold public office. These leaders help make Marshalltown a great place to live, work and do business.

4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Hellberg’s Jewelers (13 West Main Street)

Hellberg’s Jewelers invites all employees of Chamber member businesses and organizations to Business After Hours on Thursday, November 15 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Their store will be decked out for the holidays. Come enjoy fabulous food and drink, see their fine jewelry and distinctive gift offerings, and get into a festive spirit, all the while making connections with employees of other Chamber members.

Co-sponsored by Marshalltown Area Chamber of Commerce and Iowa Valley Continuing Education, the group consists of 25 to 30 dynamic individuals who represent a cross section of the community and demonstrate diverse strength sets. These emerging leaders have taken part in a program that immersed them in a knowledge of different sectors of the community as well as engages them in activities. They now go on to hold leadership positions in their companies, serve on non-profit boards, volunteer for community organizations and hold public office. These leaders help make Marshalltown a great place to live, work and do business.
