Teed Up Fore Transplant
Mikki, wife and mother of two, has been battling kidney problems since 2014 when she was diagnosed with IgA nephropathy- also known as Berger’s disease. It is a kidney disease that occurs when IgA deposits build up in the kidneys, causing inflammation that damages kidney tissues.
We are looking to help Mikki and her family as much as possible through this life changing journey. Medical bills, travel expenses, transplant costs, medications, hospital stay/check ups, and recovery of a 3 month time period are just the beginning of the expenses. Estimated costs are up to $10,000 just in the first 6 months of having a kidney transplant. Mikki is currently on dialysis and has experienced many trips in and out of the emergency room. Thankfully, her cousin will be giving her another opportunity at life by donating one of her kidneys. She will be undergoing the transplant on May 10, 2018. Join us for a benefit to assist them during this time. Thank you!
