Laura Ingalls Wilder Presentation

Sarah Uthoff will give a presentation about the life of Laura Ingalls Wilder on Saturday, August 19 at 2:00 p.m. in the Marshalltown Public Library’s community meeting rooms. She will present Packing Up, telling the story of Laura’s life through the artifacts that Laura packs up in a chest to take with her as she moves to Missouri.

Sarah Uthoff received both her history education BA and her Masters of Library Science degrees from the University of Iowa. Currently, she serves as director of the Oxford Public Library in Oxford, Iowa and as a reference librarian at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. An active Wilder researcher, Sarah is a regularly-featured speaker at the annual Laura Ingalls Wilder Remembered Day at the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library in West Branch.
