Latino Heritage Festival will be held on Saturday, September 16, from Noon to 7:00 pm, at the Orpheum Theater Center.

Schedule:
12:00 pm – food vendors, kids activities, including a bouncy house & face painting (outdoors)

12:30 – 1:00 – Welcome

1:00 – 2:00  Los Niños del Tepeyac  (Aztec Dance Troup)

2:00 – 4:00  Food from multiple countries/Cooking Demonstrations ($10 fee; in black box Theater)

5:00- 6:00  Guitarras presentation: songs of Mexican Independence; discussion of importance of September 16; personal reflection on immigrant experience; audience participation activity. Includes multimedia educational presentation.

6:00 – 7:00 Guitarras performance
