Jean Seberg Festival of Arts
Class act. Pure class. That is what comes to mind when we think of the Jean Seberg Festival of the Arts at the IVCCD Orpheum Theater in Jean’s hometown of Marshalltown, Iowa.
Each year is new and exciting, and gets bigger! Featuring films, art, fashion, music, symposiums and the massive archive of Jean Seberg photographs, documents and memorabilia.

5:30 pm -Building opens/art exhibit & black book display open
6-7:30 pm -Opening reception & Awards Ceremony, Black Box; Amy & Adams music
7:45-9:15 pm -Reader’s Theater: Scenes from Sabrina Fair & Stardust, directed by David Engle, movie theater
Sat. Nov 4 – Activities are free unless otherwise noted
9:30 am -building opens/art exhibit & black book display open
10-11:30 am -Roundtable– Jean Forever Relevant– Moderator, Cedric Pulford, Black Box
11:45 – 1 pm $5 Guided Legacy Tour, led by Jeanine Loros or “Memories of Jean” experience
1:15-2:15 pm -Symposium- Rebel Without a Pause– Speaker, Jude Rawlins, Black Box
2:30 – 4:30 pm -$6 Film-Diamonds Are Brittle followed by Q & A with Director Nicolas Gessner, movie theater
6:00 – 8:15 pm -$6 Screening, Paint Your Wagon– movie theater

9:30 am -building opens/art exhibit & black book display open also “Sights and Sounds of Previous Festivals’ in movie theater (runs 1 hour)
10 – 10:30 am -2nd offering, ‘Memories of Jean’ experience

11:45 am -Announcement of ‘People’s Choice’ winner & closing remarks.
