13th Street Presents History Mystery Presentation

You won’t want to miss our next event in the 13th Street District! The incredible Dorie Tammen, Riverside Cemetery General Manager and well known Historian, will be telling fascinating true stories of Marshalltown yore! We will explore the 13th Street District as we learn about the Braddy Family Cemetery, notable Marshalltowians and so much more to discover about our curious past around town! This unique event will last 90 minutes, kicking off at 3:15 p.m. and will meet at Echo Sculpture or if rain at 229 N 13th St (old 13th Street Inn/ formerly Express Mart). *Please note the weather location change below*

This event is free and open to the public. There is no cost to attend nor RSVP; just show up! Free will donations appreciated.

The weather this Sunday looks to be rainy, chilly and windy therefore the 13th Street District will host this event in the ‘old 13th Street Inn/ formerly Express Mart’ that is next to West End Perk. We will be warm and staying in this one location so bring your lawn chairs if you wish to sit and we will have light refreshments for you as you take in the captivating history that Dorie Tammen will share with us all! We are excited to see you soon!!
