Built in 1874, this beautifully preserved Italianate-style home includes a curved cherry stairway, Italian marble fireplace and walnut built-in bookshelves. Tours and meals available by appointment. Tea parties available upon request.

Gems in Marshalltown self-guided driving tour
The Art Gallery houses an outstanding collection of original Impressionist and Post-Impressionist paintings. Two and three-dimensional works are also on permanent exhibit. Exhibits change monthly in the Auditorium. Art shop featured. Docent tours available.

Sculpture Collection self-guided walking tour
Outstanding sculptures grace the beautiful grounds at the FCC. The signature piece is Christian Petersen's final work, "Dedication to the Future," that can be seen in a beautiful water and fountain setting as you enter the FCC grounds.

Museum features a permanent geological exhibit displaying a collection of LeGrand fossil crinoids. Special exhibits include famous Marshall County residents like Jean Seberg and "Cap" Anson, a military history exhibit and "The General Store." Group tours by appointment.

The Orpheum Movie House seats 152 and will host small stage performances, business, political and educational seminars and classic movies.

The Orpheum Black Box Theater seats up to 145 and offers theater and musical performances, dinner theaters, seminars, private gatherings, school reunions, public exhibits and trade shows.

The Orpheum Learning Studios provide modern, flexible spaces for seminars, drama rehearsals, short-term classes geared toward the arts and non-traditional learners and exhibits.

The Orpheum Patio Amphitheater can hold an intimate group for theatrical or musical performances, business after-hour gatherings and other impromptu use by the public.

The Orpheum Coffee Shop which adjoins the east coffee shop patio is a fun gathering place anytime, especially for morning coffee and great lunches. Catering service available for your Orpheum events.

The Ray Frederick Gallery is operated by the MCC Fine Arts Department to showcase MCC student artwork, as well as the work of local and regional artists. A new display is showcased each month during the school year (August through May).
