Chamber Government Affairs
The Chamber Local Government Committee monitors business related issues at the local, state and federal level. The Committee keeps the Chamber membership informed about and involved with legislative and governmental issues. This committee sponsors the annual Des Moines Summit to advance the interests of Marshalltown and Marshall County.

Iowa Chamber Alliance
A unified voice for economic growth
The Iowa Chamber Alliance focuses on improving the business environment to directly impact the success of main street and commercial businesses — specifically, by finding ways to promote job growth, enhance our workforce and create the infrastructure for the future.
The Alliance is a non-partisan coalition that represents 17 Chambers of Commerce and economic development organizations throughout the state. The Alliance's mission is to put forth and enact an agenda to grow the state's economy through support of proactive programs that stimulate economic growth opportunities for the entire state and its residents.
The Alliance members include chambers and economic development organizations in: Ames, Bettendorf, Burlington/West Burlington, Cedar Falls, Cedar Rapids, Council Bluffs, Davenport, Des Moines, Dubuque, Fort Dodge, Iowa City, Marshalltown, Mason City, Muscatine, Ottumwa, Sioux City and Waterloo.
